Speaker: Dr. Stephanie Yeung is a prosthodontist in West Los Angeles. Dr. Yeung completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, later completing her postgraduate and residency at University of Southern California, Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry.
Summary: Digital technology to enable clinicians to convey all the information to create the virtual patient, diagnose and plan prosthetics and implant surgery is utilized more than ever. This lecture will detail the use of the digital workflow for the placement of immediate implants and immediate provisionalization which has been shown to provide a more optimal patient experience.
Course objectives
– Highlight DTX StudioTM capabilities that lead to single-unit immediate implant placement and provisionalization.
– Describe an overview of current materials available for immediate provisionalization (printed or milled), including benefits and constraints.
– Outline current methods and how they lead to certain efficiencies and accuracies from a private practice perspective.
